Outreach Ministry

As a child and into adulthood, I've "served" in several capacities including secretary, teacher, hospitality team lead, and security team lead. But it wasn't until my 20's when I experienced the joy of serving others through community outreach.

Since a child, I've had a heart for the homeless community. No particular reason that I can recall, just always have. But overtime, a passion has grown simply for those in need of a second chance. People wanting and trying their best to do better in life in spite of the cards stacked against them, of their own choices or someone elses.

Humbled by His Grace Ministries (HbHGM) was birthed from a book written during a low point of my life. I was unemployed and soon found myself living in my sister's second bedroom with no car and freelancing as a transcriptionist. So knowing personally what it means to have the grace and mercy of God on my side, my mission is now to share the same with others, specifically those often overlooked and/or on a new path of life.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of serving people in apartment communities, laundromats, and community functions. It brings so much joy to my heart to put a smile on someone else's face. Without a permanent church home, I still wanted to be able to serve, but didn't think I had the finances or connections to do so.

One of my prayers has always been for God to bless me that I may bless others. Well... part of that being blessed requires me to be a good steward, so I thank God for the growth and discipline.

In October 2021, I began serving the residents of Bethlehem House every 3rd Saturday of the month. In July, 2022, I switched to serve the men of Phoenix Recovery Centers of Arkansas.
